Textures for the Gulf and Yuma are now signed off :) Working on the Mach Loop/Wales textures today together with Hawaii as that should be relatively straight forward. It’s looking great, adding to the diversity and realism of the environment. All of this terrain/scenery development is necessary for finalising the missions and campaign that we know you are all eager to get your hands on :)

Ok so as planned, Ed has the first Mach Loop textures in. He’s now working on colour matching and making alterations to the atmospheric conditions to make the UK less dusty :) As per yesterday’s update, Yuma and the gulf landscape textures are complete. In addition, he’s now applied the texture to MCAS Yuma, which is your base for the training missions in and around ‘Barry M. Goldwater Range’, Arizona.

Not sure if you can answer this Dev's but how far in your opinion (percentage wise) are you from the completion of main game?

Hey @anthonysteele161 - the million dollar question :) You are right in thinking that its difficult to answer! I wouldn't want to commit to that without Ed's input but we will be trying to provide some more clarity over the coming weeks, because as you know we are approaching a year in EA.
Lol no worries, asking purely for selfish reasons.. I work overseas for six week periods with no ability to update or download. Not to worry there is plenty of content so far to keep me occupied. Though I'm hoping the next update is before the end of the month which is when I return to work. Really appreciate the time taken to reply you and Ed have created a little masterpiece so take your time and get things right. I'm sure your flight sim will become a classic :)

Colour matching done and looking great, the knock on effect the clouds have on the terrain look especially impressive! Also complete, is the code which places you at the airport as you start up the mission. By the way, terrain imagery for MCAS Yuma is at 1ft resolution :) On a separate note, to clarify, Hormuz remains the main terrain. Other areas are for training missions, the UK for example is where you get to fly the Mach Loop.
