out of memory problem

on some missions (muret for example...), the game stops and I have a message : out of memory...Cant find a solution ... I use win 8

Yes, I have this same problem, also, I'm running Windows 7. have you tried running in windows xp compatibility mode?

if onboard gfx card increase ram in bios ? ( named pc or allso check mortherboard hompage for drivers )

update gfx drivers anyway ... NVIDIA ? AMD ? INTEL ?

I have the same problem it's incredibly frustrating. First I couldn't get through 5 minutes without crashing because of access errors and now that I've fixed that there is this stopping me from starting the 4th English mission....

Any map with a castle in it doesn't work for me in this game. The 2nd French mission was the same for me. There won't be a fix, the game is too old and entirely unsupported. I even contacted the support and this was the response.

"The developers are informed about this issue and we’re trying to get to the bottom of this.

Sadly no solution emerged yet, but we’re still figuring this one out"

AKA, this game will never be fixed, seeing as these same problems have been reported for years.

Is this a solution or a guess? I'm not willing to go through the motions of tech support for this game any longer. If you **know** the above works I'll try it, but again, if it's a guess I'm not going to bother, and you shouldn't state it like it is one.

You're right, it's not your job, and if you have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue what you're talking about in regards to solving the problem, don't bother giving advice that does not work and ultimately wastes peoples' time. Like mine was wasted when I tried that solution in another thread, if you are not experiencing the problem and do not KNOW that is a solution, stop wasting peoples time by posting it.

I literally said I tried it before and it didn't work. I also said if you don't know it will work (you clearly don't) stop suggesting it as a solution. I also did not break any rules in the link you posted, so I'm not entirely sure why you would post that.

to all, try the new step by step post, somehow i also got access violation, and crash with xiii maybe you also have same problem with a setting that eat all memory up and with the light issue ?

i did not have this first time , but maybe a good thing so i had to start from beginning again

either use a old os with 32bit limitations or a virtual OS , or a programmer that wil find the memory lock issue and hex edit or somethings like that as we have seen been done with other games. or try windows 10 compabilities test to see if this can fix it.

Tried some compatibilities but it didin't work. Seems to happen only on maps with castles. I was hoping for a simple solution. Ah well guess thats that, seemed like a fun game if not for this problem.
