Iggle Pop! Deluxe

Iggle Pop! Deluxe

sp3lfanaaT Aug 28, 2016 @ 8:19am
hi, just downloaded some demos but game needs steam.dll
Iggle Pop Deluxe
Rocket Mania Deluxe
The Wizards Pen
Typer Shark Deluxe

nothing works ....
so i googled, found some tips about searching for the file, but... you've guessed it :D no files in any of the demogames folders

so i looked here, but i see only 3 discussions... of which one seems never answered
regarding a possible false positive or flag of malware by avast...

My question is: is it alive in here? seems lake a wasteland..to me . no replies, no actions, no... nothing

i bought lots of casualgames at various devs/publishers ... usually its quite crowed, lots of repleis and discussions... but this place seems abandoned, and i would like to be taken seriously... if you abandoned steam or so... please leave a note saying so...

So i assume popgame = a goner?
Ahwell... i was looking if the demos would run on win7 64 bits, so i got these demos... but if even a demo doesnt work ....
ahwell...
nevermind
maybe better luck next time? :D

:steamfacepalm:

Try this:

Wherever you installed Steam on your computer- usually it will be in the "C" drive in your computer, in one of the "Program Files" folders- look for the "Steam" folder. Open it.

Scroll down, and look for a file called "Steam.dll."

Right-click it, and copy it.

Now scroll up and find a folder called "steamapps." Open it.

Open the "common" folder.

Inside you should see the "Iggle Pop Deluxe" folder, or one with a similar name. Open it, you should see the "IgglePop.exe" file or similar (I am using the 2001 Sony which does not have Steam installed so this is from memory). If you do, you're in the right place.

Right-click, and PASTE. The "Steam.dll" file will appear.

Try the game again. It should work; if not, try running it through the Steam app.

Good luck!
