Initially I was stuck in story mode repeatedly being sent back to the master after each boss kill, this was solved after I took as few clicks as possible to complete the masters dialogue and also then the shop keepers full dialogue that shows after defeating the boss, after this it finally unlocked endless mode. Everytime I beat the slime it just sends me back to master and thats it over and over. No going further or anything like that.
