The video is supposed to start if/when you get close to that giant computer. Didn't want it to start every time someone was trying to beat their score on that level.
I guess the ship does feel kind of 'heavy', compared to the amount of thrust it generates. Takes a little time to cancel out any downward momentum. You Shouldn't be struggling to get off the ground or anything, tho.
I made a short explanation on how to here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/340450/discussions/1/2425614539584284141/
I got lucky to change that this year for another game, otherwise.. don't know.
Perhaps you put it somewhere allready and I overlooked ;-)
One thing that has happened is if you forget to esc. out of the game when you leave the computer for a while is the ship has disappeared when I come back and I have to X out of the game and restart.
My favourites are the Ring Runners. Some names at the start of the level are not the same as when you choose your level tho. e.g. 1- Baby Rings v.s. Teathing Rings.
Looking for the Widgets is also a great feature but I've missed them in the Tuturial. I have seen in older vids that they used to be there... On other levels you sure have hidden them well...
Do you know if there is a setting on every keyboard to get 4 keys pressed at the same time noticed? or do not all keyboards have that feature? Thanks again Don!
Hi JakesBro, I enjoy the competition! the way I see it is that it makes us both better at a game we love to play. I have to admit, though, that you are leaps and bounds ahead of me in "Ringrunner'. I am practicing , so maybe one day I can be a challenge for you.
You can do that Crowd Control pretty quick if you just don't give the Rollers a chance to catch up to you. Pop in, land, and leave before they can get up enough speed.
best way, for the pads inside the big structure; ya gotta kind of fake em out. Head over towards the right pad and when they start to follow you, switch real quick and land on the left pad. If you time it just right you'll be taking off just as they catch up, then you have a few seconds to get over to the right pad before they can turn around.
An idea for some new achievements would be: collect all 75 stars in Ring Runner, collect all 75 stars in Pad Hopper, collect all 150 stars. Bad luck: crash within 5 seconds of the game. Grinder: Stay alive for more than 500 seconds in a game. Can't sleep: login the game between 2 and 5 am. Addict: play the game more than 6 hours in a single day.
Just some ideas. I love the achievements and always try to get 3 stars for every level.
