First of all, my thanks to everyone that wishlisted and left positive reviews, I didn't expect such engagement and feedbacks.

As for the real info as stated in the title, I'll release the early access of Window Of Perspectives at this date :

Content added

2 new levels with new gameplay mechanics are ready to go and a Tutorial Level has been added, which will also be released in the demo version for curious players.

Of course a few bugs, spelling errors and minor details have been added. I won't list them all, since you're all investigators I'll let you find them !

Prices, Money, Bucks, Valuable Value

Being a solo dev with little to no income, I'll ask for a small payment, around 5 Euro/USD.

Since I don't know about every economic situation, I mostly let Steam do Local Pricing, so don't hesitate to leave a review regarding specific prices, I'll try my best to adapt accordingly.

There's not much more to say, I hope you will like what I did and stick with me for more levels and mysteries.

Cool demo!

I like the concept a lot, I will say it took me an embarrassing amount of time to figure out you can move the scene around. I will say, the clues have a tendency to sometimes get stuck either on the clue board (as immovable copies) or on the search engine (also just a visual bug). Also I have no idea what to do for case 2, I can't explore enough of the room to figure out names or further information other than the pills, date and moving company. I feel like I'm supposed to be able to see more, like the do...

Early Access Review

It's a fun game but incredibly short. I would recommend buying this game because it has potential to grow into something very unique and fun as well as the cheap price but at the moment it is still in a very bare bones state.

Certainly inspired by the golden idol games, how long is this?

The current state and the end state? 2027 is a long time though and usually with EA a lot can happen.

Early Access Review

At the time of writing this review the game is in Early Access, with 4 cases to solve. The main gimmick of this game you can see in the lower right corner. Because not all the needed "words" are present on the screen you will have to use the Looking[\b] browser. By searching a combination of two "words" you might find a website with additional "words". This works to varying degrees. Sometimes the combination will be obvious, but few times I just had to try every combination of words, just to get the last one missing.
The second gimmick is "branching" paths. I put branching in brackets, because so far it has been properly used only in one case. When you're filling out the scroll, you'll can choose if you want to solve it in a logical way e.g "Developer hired a hacker to complete their game.", or solve it in a paranormal way e.g. "Developer summoned a demon to complete their game."
The scrolls are structured in such way, where both sentences make gramatical sense. Unfortunately this feature isn't properly used throughout the cases. While this choice in case 1 leads to a completely different follow-up, in other cases the choice changes nothing or there is no follow-up case.
To sum it up, this game is a great proof of concept and I still see the potential in it. If the developer can properly utilize the searching and branching features, and most importantly fix all the typos, I think it could be fun Golden Idol inspired game.
