definately not worth it.

im glad i got half life 2 and half life 2 lost coast during the daily deal so i got both for only 3 dollars. no idea, no idea at all why they would make lost coast 40 dollars individually. it literally is only 10 minutes, its just slightly better graphics than the other half life 2 in a very short chapter.

It says $40 because you can only buy it in a pack with other games. You can't buy it individually, and not for $40.

If you get Half-Life 2 Its free and its definatly worth getting. Half-Life 2 Lost Coast Is ( As of right now ) A Demo to Sshow Gamers the new HD Effects And a New Thing Called Light Spec or whatever that controls the screen if you look at the sun and stuff. Get Half-Life 2 I Recommend it!

xD. I got it for free when i bought all my Half Life games on steam. It says $40, Because the only way you can get it, is through a pack

At the start of the game. *SPOLIERS* When you are about to get teleported to New Black Mesa. It cuts out and you get teleported in diffrenet places. Lost Coast was meant to be placed about there in the original game, but was taken out. It was later added as a seperate game with High res Graphics. Dont know why it was removed. But if you read the original story from Valve and what Half Life 2 was going to be. Its a lot diffrent to the game we know love

So you mean you bought the "Orange Box" which includes all HL 2 series and Team Fortress 2 and its Beta... ;)

well yes half life 2 is worth getting, i just didn't know that you could only get lost coast with a pack, i thought it was asking for $40 for just lost coast, which does have nice new lighting features and such.
