Animation Speed
Hey guys,

Just picked up this title a few days ago and just got round to playing it for a few hours and am enjoying it. Having played the earlier Heroes of Might and Magic II & III games, as well as Kings Bounty (had ye old Sega Genesis one!), I thought I'd give this title a whirl...since it was £4.

Still getting to grips with things, just progressing through the Empire Act 1, I was wondering if it was possible to speed up some of the world animations...such as spell casts and my other hero (warrior nun). Since this character isn't on a horse like Lambert, she crawls along the map :(

Short answer: No.
Long answer: If you have experience modding games, you could remove the spell animation or shorten it, but it may be hard coded in the game.

Ah, I see. That's too bad, pace of the game really slows down due to it.

Long animations are one of the characteristics of Disciples series.

Fair enough. I noticed I could actually just do some stuff in the towns during them anyway, so that's a little idle time I could allocate elsewhere! Just hit Act 4 and thought once I ended my turn, that it had crashed since nothing moved...no egg timer or anything to indicate background work, just takes a little time.

wish that there is a key to skip the magic animations
