Or, having some in game music, that would be nice. Something chill like surf music for when there's no enemies on the map/in line of sight/spotted, and some good ol' fashioned rock and roll for when units are in combat or in range of attacking an enemy.
Sound nowadays is a major part in gameplay, and these little details would help improve this game bit by bit and keep things interesting.
The problem I see with scenario specific music is that they will be like 5-10 seconds short clips. Combat takes like 2 seconds.
