Makes me sad that that as a paying customer, I can't get a product to work without jumping through 100 hoops.

I agree completely that uplay is a pain in the ass. I am shaking with anger currently from spending 4 hour trying to get the game to work. THEN, it finnaly worked, played it. Came back later and Uplay DISAPEARED. And I had to uninstal and reinstal to start the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥ proccess again

I dont support pirating either but the Uplay is ♥♥♥ked, it's maxing out my bandwidth but only downloading the game at like 10kb/s. I wanted it to work I really did but I'm not gonna let it suck up all of my bandwidth for days waiting for it to download a game that only cost me like 3 bucks. At least this lesson was cheap, I feel bad for anyone that paid $60 to learn that it's gonna take a month just to download the game and even then it probably wont work properly.

Whenever I see a new game pop up on steam the first thing I look for is if it uses UPLAY or not. If it does, I just keep on looking.

I've passed up a few games I probably might have paid for otherwise, but I'll be damnd if I'm gonna lose more $$$ due to UPLAY again.

BTW, Steam for whatever reason couldn't help with this issue. All they could do is tell me to contact UPLAY which I did, and they couldn't resolve the issue either. So I paid $$$ for something I can't use, and will likely never be able to use.

Seriously, there should be a law against this.

The only silver lining in all of this is I only lost a few dollars. But that few dollars cost UPLAY a few hundred dollars in products I refuse to buy from them.

It doesn't matter though. I'm sure a company as big as Ubisoft couldn't care one bit about a single person like myself.

But thats the thing, if they manage to piss off enough people they may take notice. I know a lot of people are raging about this right now. Looks like it isnt enough yet though...
