friggin Uplay, wasnt mandatory when i bought this game

i cant play because Uplay doesnt let me log in, and when creatng a new acc, the cd key is already taken(duh...).

i bought this game, only required a small log in. now Uplay comes around and i cant play anymore.

I have the same issue, I wanted to play this game again, since when I got it a couple years ago, my computer wasn't powerful enough to play it. With my recent upgrade I decided to give it a go, however, when i go to log into my uplay account, it fails. I have verified the cache and reinstalled the game, making a new account says the the CD key is already used. It's kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that one may have to pirate a legitimately purchased game because the DRM broke it for someone who actually bought the game.
