Use the other traffic on the road. You cannot just stay in one car and outrun them.

Actually, I've had better luck just outrunning them straight, without z-turns, unlike GTA. Being a cop is awesome in the game. It's my fav thing to do.

personnaly i think that outrunning the cops is way to easy

depends on what car you have - if you can go faster than their car, then it makes some sense
