Activation Code

So it's making me go through Ubisoft and Uplay to play this game and is asking for an activation code. I downloaded this awhile ago and it didn't work on my computer. I have a new laptop now and am trying it out but I do not have an activation code. There is no "send code to my email" button or link. Where can I find the activation code?
