Stuck at the title screen.

Soo I was gifted this silly game and I got to play it for about an hour an then after closing it I can't reboot it, in fact it gets stuck at the main loading screen and the snail isn't going no where for loading. So it's safe to assume that something is wrong with the save file. Anyone have any solutions?

This is a major issue, I was able to launch the game once and it's stuck on the loading screen on the second launch. I just purchased the PopCap Collection and I'm a bit disappointed. Unfortunately I doubt this question will ever get answered.

1. Go to your steam folder and copy your steam.dll file
2. Go to your insaniquarium Deluxe folder (found in Steam>Steamapps>Common)
3. Paste the file inside of that folder
4. Open the "Insaniquarium" file (Not the insaniquarium scren saver or Insaniquaium deluxe!!!)
-THIS VERSION YOU ARE OPENING IS NOT THE STEAM VERSION
5. Make it windowed in the options
6. Close it
7. Open the Steam version and play on it

This worked for me so hopefully it works for yall!

This person is a life saver! This really works. And to find your Steam.dll all you need to do is search "steam" while you're in your main steam folder and you'll easily find it.

I copied a Steam.dll file in there and deleted and reloaded (verify cache) the bass.dll and it appears to be working again... but I have to open it from the SteamApps/common/ folder, it won't load from the Steam menu

get to the install dir and right click on insaniquarium.exe go to propreties -> compatibility -> check "run in 640 x 480" and it should work in fullscreen

I had this game years ago, once upon a time. Got it on sale recently because nostalgia... Wouldn't load though. So glad you folks have the answers to restore my fishy fun- thanks!

THE SOLUTION is HERE!

1.Windows buttun+R

2.type "regedit"

3.Find PoPCap>Insaniquarium

4.Find "ScreenMode" on the right side of the window and click it

5.You will see the "1" in the box. Change it to "0"

6. Your game will started as Window mode. No stuck.

7. After you launch the game and before you play the game,
change it to Full screen mode at the options.

8. Before you quit your game, make sure to change it to Window mode at the options.
If you don't do this, you have to do 1 to 5 again!
