What's happening with the game?

For some reason trying to start new games doesn't work and loading games does work but none of the features work

How do you replace the fake names with real ones? I keep trying but its not happening.

So, doing some lookin' around I've noticed...is this like a dumbed down version of The Movies? Am I mistaken?

1- I can't figure my head around licensing on release of the film! If I un-tick any of them during the on release, i can't click on it again, why? and how do toys and books work? and how do i get income from licensing? I never get any! 2- Why isn't there a manual save function?? Really? in this time and age of mdoern gaming one would neglect the basic feature like this?
