Somebody please help me for the love of god. this game wont start and every time i press start it loads a little bit and then just goes back to saying press start. If anyone has a fix for this then i would get on my hands and knees and thank you with all of my very being....

did someone managed to make it run ? i tried everything, peixoto patch, D3D patch, dxvoodoo, nglide, nothing worked, it crashes right as its starting

...but, it's not a third-person shooter. It's gonna be a side-scrolling fighting game. It seems fast-paced and has some unique visuals, but it's a genre that is far removed from the original Slave Zero. I'm assuming that, if this prequel sells okay, the developers might consider a proper sequel within the shooter genre. Look up Slave Zero X on Steam....

Edit: Removed Linux from description as I haven't been able to get this working outside of the Steam Deck. Slave Zero doesn't work out of the box (and probably never will) but with a bit of work it runs great on the Steam Deck. This how-to assumes that you've got the Steam version of the game installed.
