Start menu crash - Green screen

I can start up the game well and good until I get to the start menu, as soon as I click start the screen flicks on a green screen quick and then changes to black. The game then shuts itself down and I get the error message 'Lord of the rings war in the north has stopped working'. I have tried re-installing the game, checking the file integrity and even searched through the save files. I can't find anything wrong with the game, has anyone else had this problem? Please help!

I too have this problem and unfortunately have no idea how to fix it. I hope someone does because I currently cannot play the game.
