astromec jets dont work

i'm having the same problem actually, and i know that you're supposed to hold down the jump button for the r2d2 hovering jet but it won't work so i can't even get past the first level! if someone knows a fix to this please help

press jump button
take finger off jump button
then quickly press the jump button again (like a double jump) and hold to fly

Go to options, video settings, and turn on vertical sync

If that doesn't work idk what else can help

i guess this got fixed? but usually weird problems in these games is just vsync always put that on. og lego star wars would bug out on the first mission and crash alot without vsync

vsync needed to be on for me too, i was wondering why the astromechs were having jump issues but also the double jumpers and normal jumpers, it made it seem like gravity was pulling them all down.
