So, how can I technically play with a friend on Steam if I use GOG Galaxy?

OK, so you have to have Galaxy installed for the coop to work. GOG does allow games to run without Galaxy, just wondering, dont like too many game clients installed.

All matchmaking is handled by GOG servers (both for Steam and for GOG users) and this means there will be a single friend list (with both Steam and GOG players).

Unfortunately GOG galaxy is required for co-op, as we need it to handle the matchmaking. It's not so easy to create and support your own matchmaking servers, for a company which doesn't know how to do that :).

Only another little question: do you know why SW2 isn't localized in Italian like the first one?
Any plan to localize it shortly after the release like for first SW?

Sorry, I know nothing about localizations. I doubt that there is a final localization language list :).

I asked because on both Steam and GOG pages there are only those languages:

Audio:

English

Subtitles:

English
French
German
Spanish
Polish
Portuguese-Brazil
Russian

So this looks pretty "definitive" but I'll wait for more news if you say that this descriptions aren't "final".
