So, how can I technically play with a friend on Steam if I use GOG Galaxy?
There will be a separate friend list IN the game?

All matchmaking is handled by GOG servers (both for Steam and for GOG users) and this means there will be a single friend list (with both Steam and GOG players).
Unfortunately GOG galaxy is required for co-op, as we need it to handle the matchmaking. It's not so easy to create and support your own matchmaking servers, for a company which doesn't know how to do that :).

Only another little question: do you know why SW2 isn't localized in Italian like the first one?
Any plan to localize it shortly after the release like for first SW?
