Crossplay between Steam and GOG.

Was anyone able to play with GOG users yet? I have a Steam friend who owns the game on GOG but I was unable to play coop with that person at all.

I sent invites through the game's UI and no dice for now. I even hosted it with drop-in set to public yet my Steam friend still can't find me. I'm already past the prologue and all so I should be able to coop by now.

It's possible for sure but seems overly complicated.

Make sure you have steam installed and you have your friend on your friends list. He has to host, then invite you through steam to join his game. Accept it and you will get a message:

-connect_galaxy_lobby=LotsOfNumbers

Go to your shadow warrior 2 install directory and find the Launch Shadow Warrior 2 shortcut.
Right click>properties and paste the above line into the Target box so it should read something like this:

"D:\GalaxyClient\Games\Shadow Warrior 2\ShadowWarrior2.exe" -connect_galaxy_lobby=Numbers

launch the shortcut, it will take you to the join game menu and just click join. Works.

I tried to find out how that works and that does not mean edit and staff !!

...but the supporters ar just unable.

Eine brauchbare Kontaktmöglichkeit über Ihren Hauseigenen GoG Service wäre sehr wünschenswert.

Das einzige was ich gefunden habe ist eine, diese E-Mail und selbst diese kopieren geht nicht.

Nun zum eigentlich Punkt.

Zu erst, es ist nicht möglich eine klare Antwort auf die Frage zu finden wie "Crossplay" in Shadow Warriors 2 funktioniert und das bei aller überhypten grossanpreisung.

Gerüchten zu folge soll es einen Steam Cliente und einen GoG Cliente auf der einen Seite brauchen für den der es im Steam gekauft hat. Wenn man es nur im GoG gekauft hat braucht es nur einen Klienten den GOG Galaxie Client.

Stimmt das?

I wand to play coop Shadow Warrior2.

How is that done if we have steas as well es gog?

Heart roumors that it needs gog on one site and gog and steam on the other??

I was in diffrend forums and the public realy does need to know it!!!

du findest auf der GOG-Shopseite des Spiels folgende Hinweise:
Multiplayer notice: Shadow Warrior 2 features crossplay public matches that you can play with your friends no matter where the game was purchased (PC only).
Multiplayer Notice: Please note that the GOG Galaxy Client is required to access Multiplayer.
Crossplay ist für Shadow Warrior 2 also nur für öffentliche Matches verfügbar, und um den Mehrspielermodus der GOG-Version spielen zu können, muss das Spiel über den Galaxy-Client gestartet werden.
Falls du noch weitere Fragen hast, lass es mich bitte wissen.

Das war keine Antwort auf "wie läuft es beim Crossplay?" ?
DAS ist die Frage sonst garnichts!

Ich weiss und darum habe ich all das selbst geschrieben, dass es Crossplay geben soll, ich weiss, dass es mit GoG Freunden im selben Spiel gehen soll (wahrscheinlich sehe ich Ihn online und lade ein) das ist dann aber KEIN Crossplay.
Crossplays bedeutet aber überschneident also in diesem Fall auf einer anderen Plattform. Folglich ist Er eingelogt auf Steam und ich auf GoG und sehe Ihn nicht online im Clienten.

Es ist natürlich klar, dass Sie auf Ihrer eigenen Seite auf GoG spezifische Antwort auflisten/publizieren aber wir sind nicht alle GoG Spieler.

I m working my self as supporter and when I have to do with others (like that kind) I sometimes feal I had to do with totaly retardet people!
Thats not an insult or making fun of them , It is more kind of sad.

My unswers are not fool proved it is totaly *full-Idiots-dumm-asses* proved so a 7 years old can follow it.
