No mouse cursor - Empire at war
Hey guys !

I've installed Empire at War on my PC (Windows 10). It launches but I can't se the mouse cursor. I can tell the mouse is working since the hover effect on buttons works and i can then access the menus but it's obviously unplayable since I have to guess where the mouse is.

However, with Forces of Corruption (the addon), I don't have that problem. Can anyone help me out ?

Thanks a lot !

Same problem. Invisible cursor on Win10. Changed the compatability mode to Vista and seems to work. (I tried XP service pack 3 at first, but game wouldn't launch).

Try disabling the Steam overlay. Also, invisible cursor issues are often OS-Specific problems, so if it persists, run in compatibility mode or go into your mouse-driver controls and see if you can force a "system" only cursor. (The old-style, default, cursor.) Some games can correctly interpret that and apply the necessary graphic.

Also - Check to be sure your mousedrivers are up-to-date and you're running a version compatible with your OS. For instance, if you opted for the "Win 10 update" instead of a full Win10 install, you may have legacy mouse drivers borking up or otherwise confusing things. If you didn't do a full install of Win10 and only did an "update" install, then go through the process of uninstalling any manufacturer specific mouse drivers, default to the system mouse driver, then download and install the newest Win10 mouse drivers from your manufacturer's website.

Minimizing a window will force a refresh when it's refocused, so that would make sense if it's a graphics/driver issue.
