Xbox 360 Controller not being recognized.
The game starts up, I can use keyboard and mouse just fine... Not my 360 controller.

it'll say at the beginning "press Keyboard or controller" I'm pressing controller.. nothing.

I can play literally any other game with my 360 controller no problems what so ever, but this simply will not recognize in the slightest.

If you touch any key (even media keys!) on the keyboard or use the mouse, while you're not in-game(when you can run around with your character), the game will be K+M.
If that's your case, restart the entire game and don't touch K+M. ^^

But I'm at the beginning where it says "press keyboard or controller" that thing, I'll be pressing my controllers buttons and it will not do anything, but I can play any other game with a controller perfectly fine. Then you get people saying "oh you need drivers" or something and it's like what?! I just plug in and play! If it automatically has drivers, I'd like to be informed.

Regardless of other game, how is your controller recognized in Windows OS? If you look at the Device Manager panel it must be listed as Xbox 360 controller. If the answer is yes then you must have another USB device that is interfering with the controller detection. Usually is the mouse. Try to disconnect it and see if it helps.

Well I'm not really sure EXACTLY what I did, but it's working now. Must have been my controller acting up. Strange...

Anyways, thanks for the help guys.
