Crash at Game Launch?

I recently bought the The Force Unleased Ultimate Sith Edition and I installed it shortly after, but there way one small problem. I couldn't launch the game. After configuring the launcher to my screen res. and preferred controller type, I pressed the play button. But shortly after pressing said button, I was greeted with a pop-up window saying "The Force Unleashed has stopped working". I have no idea what to do about this. If anybody can help me on this issue, that would be greatly appreciated. Thx. :)

Here's my reply. I hope the people in charge of this game slip in the shower and become quadriplegic.

I was able to get the game to load by following the advice here steamcommunity.com/app/32430/discussions/0/558754899871568936 but it bypasses the launcher so you can't set any configuration settings so I will be working on that tonight after the kids go to bed.....super frustrating!

To get around the lack of the loader screen I manually updated the config.xml with notepad based on the example below. Works great now.

not working , just "Stoped working..." error soon as i double click the .exe :(

I bought both and the1st game has an error (won't run) and the 2nd just won't run at all. My PC can run games 10X better stuff then this game. I use to love this game when I was younger and it sucks I won't be able to play it.
