STAR WARS™: The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes™

Worth Buying?
I'm most interested in coop. I loved Jedi Power Battles, so if it's anything like that game I'd love to know. I couldn't find much online about the game, the user scores seem pretty low though... Not much here either:

As for co-op I don't know, but I can imagine it'll be fun, although I suspect it to be local co-op.
If the game is worth it or not.. Did you like the show? If you did, then yes. If you're a Star Wars fan you'll probably like it too.

Cool, thanks for the feedback. I don't mind the local-coop part of it, I have two controllers connected. I'm still on the fence, at least it's on sale for the weekend so I have time to decide. :)
Does it have online co-op ????

No. In my opinion, it isn't worth it. Thank god I bought it on sale. If the controlls weren't so bad, it would be great, but they're horrible. I haven't had a chance to try with my controller yet, but key/mouse is just bad.

I don't know about onlne co-op but local play definitely has. The game is ok but during co-op unlike the Lego Star Wars titles where the screen splits in half if the players move to far away from eachother this does not so for example one character will have to move back towards the spawning point to allow the other character to return should he die at any point.

The levels where you play as a Jedi include a lot of jumping around on small surfaces which are often hard to land on correctly so overall all many things about this title are quite poor. Those levels where you play as a Clone Trooper are much easier.

There are ok video settings options but enabling AA on one PC here wiith an NVidia GPU totally killed it.

It's on okay title but IMO not worth the current price of €15, I would wait until it comes around for sale at some point.

I bought it on REALLY deep discount, and still regret it. This game is a console port that BAD console ports point at and laugh.

The graphics are nice enough, but the controls are A W F U L. Yes. That bad. And it took FOREVER to get it running. Fix this. Fiddle that. Tweak GFWL. Find solutions from the 'net, because Microsoft's instructions all end at dead links. It took me nearly two hours to get this game up and running. Half of that was mucking around with the absolute trash that is GFWL.

Overall, it's like a Facebook game. By a studio that's never made a game before. A studio consisting mostly of Bob the 12-yo enthusiast and whatever help he could draft. I wish I could give some sort of balanced commentary here, but there is absolutely nothing to be positive about that I could see.

Don't buy it. Just go burn the money. It'll look just as good, and you'll probably have more fun. Don't get caught though. Apparently destruction of money is a criminal offense in some places.

Indeed it's inherently flawed... I was looking at it again today as my son was playing it, the characters are so small in relation to the environment, perhaps the inclusion of the couch co-op is the issue but that's the reason my son and his mate, both 5 years old love it. I have all the Star Wars Lego titles and the starwars.lego.com games but this one they always ask for. It's got the characters from the TV show and the toys scattered on the floor behind them... so suffice it to say if you have kids who are into Clones and the TV show they'll probably enjoy it but an adult most definitely not.. Also the cut scenes look terrible :)
