Hi there RobLoach, a Linux build will be worked on after the Windows and Mac versions are completed. Linux was an unachieved Stretch Goal during the KickStarter period, but it came pretty close!

That's great news! If there's any way myself, or the even the rest of http://reddit.com/r/linux_gaming could help, please feel free to let us know! We'd be more than willing to help out any way we can.

Consider me interested in a Linux version too. Would love to play this with my kids.

I keep meaning to get a Linux installation set up here so I can test out some builds for idiosyncrasies, but something always gets prioritised above it. It might speed the process up if I temporarily upload an untested Linux test build to an open beta branch so that those eager for it can test out and post bugs and problems here. Would anyone be interested in going that route?

I'd be interested in a Linux version as well. My wife loves Kart games and we are always looking for more multiplayer titles. You'd have 2 purchases from us if/when a Linux build shows up. I'd be interested in being a beta tester.

I play all kind of 4-player games with my wife and kids on our TV in the living room. I'd like to beta-test this one :)

also for this.

installing something like Linux Mint takes less than 5 mins ( just remember to turn off all the non used drives that are not meant for the main OS installation in BIOS, so the bootloader doesnt go on the wrong disc !! ) other than that its pretty much next, next etc..

if you get stuck with that, post here.

I don't think anyone answered this, but yeah, I think that could be interesting as an intermediate step in the process of getting an official Linux version released.
