I like to play cooking games because they inspire make food on real life too. If something looks good in game then I will try to make it myself and if something is really hard make in game then.. I won't even try haha! I like this game because there was many recipes I have not even heard of and I'm trying them really and they is very good. On down side this game needs fast mouse movement so it can be tiring if you have injury on your arm like me. Good past time but price is too high for how short it is. Good thing I got it from auction!

I did enjoy this. It's almost literally cooking, where you have to carry out a wide range of actions using your mouse to make different meals - and where it is quite possible to drop a hot gyoza on your foot.

I was surprised at the variety of both food and gameplay. If you don't like 'casual' games where you have to do things in a certain time and the difficulty just increases, you won't like this. But if you like food and the idea of swiping virtual knives around, it's worth getting in a sale.

What a truly lovely game absolutly great for killing time and having a good time at that. great things about the game is the sheer amount of cooking to be done i mean ive played 70 mins and im not even half way through im about 2 restrunts in and i was playing quickly and there is 8 restrunts well training institutions i should say its like suger training or egg training produce training etc etc its absolutly great fun now i got it in a steam sale at £5 it will go back to £10.99 soon and i still recommend it at £10 absolutly great game if you have any other questions you can add me and i can ansaw them. lovely game

This is actually just cooking mama in disguise as a pc game. I'm suprised they haven't gotten any copyright complaints.
It even has a bunch of the same recipes and the exact same mini games.
It would probably be easier to play on a tablet.

Love this Casual game, makes fun and you can spend a lot of hours also you get new ideas what too cook at home later, well cook book still needet but at least you know the names of the recipe, so you can google for it and cook if you have all at home.

I hope they make more of these games! its so fun to play,I picked it up during the last sale and I'm so glad I did,heres some more of my thoughts on it:

1.Its worth the price!(even if I had found it when it wasn't on sale I still would of paid full price for it)
2.It reminds me of Cooking Mama but I honestly like this game more!
3.I have over 10 hours in this game at the time of writting this and I'm still not done beating it yet!
4.Easy to learn how to play!
5.3 games in one!
6. Each game can be put into windowed mode!
7.Addictive!

This is essentially Cooking Mama for your desktop. A nice play, if a bit pricey for what it's worth. However, a great number of recipes are available, along with some decent trivia about what you're "cooking". I remember when these first came out and how I fell in love with them - I'm so happy to see these games experiencing a new life!

Have you ever heard of the game called "Cooking Mama" on Nintendo DS? Well, this one is it's exact copy (with minor mechanics changes). The problem is - on Nintendo you operate stuff in game via touch screen and it's really fun. In this game you have to deal with everything with a mouse. This sucks. All the charm is lost.
Anyways, the game is not that bad: there are some interesting ideas according to original, but, I can't recommend it, sorry.
You'd better try the Cooking Mama series.

This is the first three Cooking Academy games in one collection. They can get a bit tediously repetitive at times (there are only so many motions they can require for doing certain tasks), and some of the tasks can seem next to impossible to accomplish, but they still make for nice casual gameplay if that's your style. Basically, you're using mouse movements and clicks to complete a wide variety of cooking recipes. For players where casual games are their kind of thing, this is a good choice. Plus, it's better (in my opinion) than the DS versions.
