I would be glad if this thread could be used as the one people come to with different questions about the game, its past, present or future, to make the communication between fans and devs even easier and faster - or among fans themselves.

I think both sides profit from questions: Fans are happy when they know the answes they need and developers can get the feedback they want.

We will see if the idea of this thread works or not but at least in my opinion, it would be nice to see so many threads with only one question for example - it makes the orientation in discussions more difficult now.

Sure anyone can answer the questions asked in this thread (I hope for all the questions in this thread to be answered by developers if possible - if noone else gave the neccessary answer before of course).

I like the intent of the thread, but my questions are likely too spoilery to answer...

Any further plans for add ons, expansions, dlcs, bonus stuff arriving in patches or any other ways that H7 ends up getting its TotE? I've been replaying the campaigns while I wait for the patch that cures the bugs in the Fortress campaign. Constant mention of "the Council of Nine" or somesuch. Nine reminding us of the two other Ashan factions. Is it your hope to eventually make the "nine" complete?

my first question is for neutrals:
can they become part of a faction? can efreet-juggernaut-succubus trio join inferno in future? or neutrals will always stay neutral?

second is:
will we see any extra content? im asking this because we are confused to see "complete edition", some of us think as it means end of extra contents, dlcs, expensions..

lol...yeah right...i like to look to the brighter side of things...lol....homm5 was more immersive for sure because of the hills and 3d landscapes...homm6 and 7 pretty much have the same type of landscape....i really liked the design of homm5 alot.

I too would like to know about an Inferno faction, Even if the answer is not likely it will help put my mind to ease. I have fallen in love with m&mH7 and I really hope it continues, but with the release of the complete edition I highly doubt there will be any more content other than bug fixes.

I'd like to see neutrals that are 'sympathetic' to a faction as being recruitable in the town caravan system. Example: Griffins and Gold Dragons with Haven, etc.

Asked that myself, though if I must choose, Sanctuary would be my choice. I'd rather just have all nine factions.

One of the rare times I'd disagree with you. Except for the stories (writing), H4 was in my view, the worst of the series - yes, even worse than the super buggy h6. And purely subjective, I know, but h5's look was terrible and the game design was great.

its all good.....i like bits and parts of all of them....i thought the maps in h5,well the look of them, looked more alive then any of them to date...h6 and 7 looked like a wasteland in some parts where h5 looked more living everywhere...h3 had that same feel of the wasteland....h4 well that game was cool to play cause of the cartoony aspect of the animations and the music was really cool, even had some opera in there...lol...campaign story, voice actiong definitely h7 hands down

Can not legally answer that question....I'm kidding. Erm no idea of the future. We're heads down trying to bring the addon to the standard everyone wants. Never say never? I think China bought some rights for some Heroes stuff and they're making games? I'm not sure to what extent though.

For Trail by Fire Neutrals will stay strictly neutral, but of course you have ways to hire them to your army atleast on Skirmish maps/Diplomacy. However they have also had a recent balance pass so we certainly don't just forget about them.

As for Extra content my response would be inline with the one above. Focus is for the addon currently.


Feel free to ask more questions. Anything regarding 'future addons' and so on, i'll certainly not dodge but I genuinally don't know the answers myself so you might not get a really good answer.

Ok ... I have one question ... since patch 2.1 didn't fix anything really and patch 2.0 has been released for a month now.... are we going to wait another month for the next patch ???

Also i would like to thank the developers that created the new adventure maps in patch 2.0 as they are amazing, And really hope for new maps like that in upcoming patches .
