FAQ - Problems

[Supraball]

- Nothing happens when I start Supraball (the launcher part of the game).
This is often fixed by restarting Steam.

- Game crashes or doesn't start.
Antivirus programs cause this in many cases. Try deactivating your antivir and try again.

- Game doesn't start! The launcher works but the gameplay part doesn't start. I only see the Splash screen but nothing happens.
For some people the first start takes a few minutes! Just stay patient while you see the splashscreen. It's not crashed, it's actually creating shaders. You only have to do this once!

- I have no HUD (radar, score, crosshair) even though it's on in the menu.
In the game hit <tab> and type showhud.

- My framerate is very low but my computer is a beast!
Normally this is not the case, but for some people certain programs slow Supraball down for a still unknown reason. Check if you have programs running like DISCORD, SPOTIFY or TEAMSPEAK and try if closing them improves your FPS. Maybe also other programs.
Also reported to cause the problem: Chrome, Netflix

- I'm constantly spinning.
a) Make sure you don't have a stick of a controller bumped to a side while it's lying around somewhere.
b) It happens with the g710 plus keyboard. It has to do with its USB slots. Try releasing USB devices from it, that should fix it.

- How can I reset the tutorial?
Delete the file udktutorial.ini from supraball/udkgame/config

game downloaded and i had to install the first time setup 2 FING TIMES, then it did work but i click play and nothing happens... so i cant play it and i cant get a refund because it says i have played 4 hours but i havent played ♥♥♥♥.

You click on practice alone/online and the splash screen just stays for a long time without anything happening? If that is the case, check point 1 in the FAQ above.
If it is something else please explain the bug more detailed to me.

I occasionally run into a little annoying bug when trying to join practice lobbies. When I click to connect to them, the game launches properly but then I get a pop-up saying:

"Connection Lost: Duplicate UID"

Any clue what could be causing this?

I click on practice alone and I wait over 10 min, still without anything happen.
when i click on practice online , it is crash immediately

I was send to the Suparball Crash Reporter.
But I still have a problem,I can't enter the "Match",everytime when I click it,
it was say " No suitable lobby found" and keep loading to find suitable lobby.

well, i still have the same problem. launcher works but i try to play and nothing happens and no, doesnt work if i wait 5-10 mins even hours. tried to get a refund but it was refused because it says ive played 4 hours because i left the launcher open trying to get to play but nothing happened...... 0/10 experience yay and i was rlly excited to try this game out :(

ok i finally got it to work!!. if anyone is having the same problem i had, just open the launcher and go to options, then click on controls and a little pop up will appear saying a corrupted file was found and replaced just click ok then click on visuals and the same thing will happen and now you will be able to start the game. i hope this can help someone that has the same issue that i had and that this can help the developer notice this little problem.

I just bought the game and it says;

>Failed! Retrying...

Then it repeats that over and over again. I just paid $20 USD for this game expecting it to be great because I saw youtubers playing it, but it really let me down.

We're very sorry for the server problems We're in the process of switching to a better masterserver, the current one is rather unstable. The switch should be finished over the course of today.

I have the same exact problem. I launch the game. It tries to connect twice then fails. Then pops with a long URL.. "http://www.supraball.net/master-status-splash.html is not available"
The game looks amazing and i want to play it really bad. Any help would be awesome.

Your problem has nothing to do with the one they had. The masterserver was really down when they tried. Now the master is up and running. It's your personal connection to the master that doesn't seem to be working.
Try connecting to this http://timeoutd.net/
This is the masterserver - if you cannot connect to it, you have an internet problem.
