Logitech RumblePad2 Support / Configuration

OK I'm trying to setup absolute drift for my son to play on his rig but we're getting issues configuring the controller.

Its a logitech rumblepad 2 usually in most menus you can alter the keybindings but in absolute drift they seem to be preconfigured for the xb/ps controller which is giving me a real headache.

Usually i use joy2key but because of the default controller profiles the buttons srent being bound properly or it means if i assign a button already used on the ps/xb controller is the same as pressing both at the same time (ie. accellerate and brake) most frustraiting.

Is there any way I can customise the bindings for the logitech pad ?? even if it means editing a few files ... or does anyone have an easy solution ?? or am i just being a total newb hehe ;)

The Beta version of the game has a new input system which has support for the Rumblepad. (http://guavaman.com/projects/rewired/docs/SupportedControllers.html)
