I had and quite the time figuring out that the deluxe pack for King's Bounty has three different versions of Armored Princess. The stand alone we are commenting under- the exact original playable in Crossworlds, and the new Crossworlds version that adds more orcs and new spells and the like. The last two are all part of Crossworlds.

Crossworlds has two additional campaigns, one concluding the story of what happens after Armored Princess.

My advice to anyone is to just get the platinum when it's on sale again. Had a weekend it was only $24 and included three other strategy games. I'm going to look into gifting the extra version.

looks like platinum version for me then, holiday sale here i come!

i was so mad when KB never got lower than 50% during the autumn sale when virtually everything else over 1 year old got to 75%

Cabrony, in answer to your question - 1. Armored Princess is wholly contained within CrossWorlds, in both its original form and expanded form - as they are the same price, there is no need to buy armored princess. 2. the platinum edition does not allow you to gift the games individually, it is all together.

that sucks,i just bought the platinum edition before you posted.

just a few hours left on the flash sale i had to make an impulse decision and buy the platinum edition fast because i risk it never going 75% in the last few days.

seems like a cruel joke to sell AP and CW individually for the same price if CW is basically the "real" version of the game.

ill still get my +100 hours of entertainment out of CW,but first i got to finish the legend, makes me sad that a great game like this is so underplayed that nobody even posts in the forums, ill take KB over skyrim anyday! 0,0y-~~

Crossworlds used to require AP if I remember correctly. So it's likely the current mess is because of that.

I think the GOY edition of Crossworlds has Armored Pricess but the standard edition does not. My copy of Crossworlds (standard edition) I got from Gamers Gate will not install unless I have AP also installed.

Well, now we know why there is so much confusion. So, to be clear for all future forum readers - Crossworlds on Steam does not require armored princess, and contains it wholly within itself.
