No GG and some other stuff
After winning or loosing a long and intense game, I want to be able to at least tell my opponent the all known "GG"
Sadly, for now, all I can do, is tell myself it was a GG...and I dont want to be talking to myself (Im weird enough as it is)
Sometimes it would also be nice to just being able to communicate a little with my opponent, as MtG kinda is a social game. Id love to tell my opponent what an A** he is for destroying my enchanted Juggernaut or go messin with Pia and Kiran <3
But dont take this the wrong way, Im not here to talk ♥♥♥♥ to ppl..I just want to be able to react in a way they can see/notice, like typing words in a chat ;)
Say Hello when we start a game, wish the fellah Im playin vs Good Luck and let have a blast.
Being able to tell an opponent that I Surrender to his/hers mighty forces of Goblins and white weenies xD

So yeah, not many online pvp games that does NOT have a chat and unfortunatly, this is one of them. But other than that, FINALLY theres a Magic game where I cam make my OWN deck from the cards the game provide me with.
Yes, I know about the 96/97 Mtg game, Shandalar (or how its written). Been there, done that. Fun game, and Id like to see a remake of it where they add pvp to it.

But for now, 4-5 days playin this game and I have already started thinking of decks i can make with the cards I own, the real cards not virtual ones. There is a "few" cards from the Origins set I now want, after playing this and to me, thats a good thing. Keeping my old hobby alive.
When I browsed trough the Free to Play games here on Steam, and found this one though popped into my mind: FINALLY!! and it have so far met almost every xpectation I had while downloading it.

Also, as we can spend money to buy gold and 150gold ( 1 origins pack in the game ) cost about 15 Norwegian Kroner (about 1.5 Euros) Thats almost half of what I pay for a booster at "Outland" (Gaming stores) and considering this...is there any Value to the cards in the game? Or is it just pixels on a screen I can "waste" money on to have some fun?
And if there are some value to the cards in the game, does anyone know if there will be Trading or an Auction House in the Future?
Or is it to early in the game prosess to tell?

This has become a long enough post, so Im gonna end it here as Im not writing a book xD

Last, Thank you for your time reading this and I hope you draw terrible if you and I would ever face off ;)

Peace to ya`ll!

Yes, the emote thingies they have in heartstone would be more that enough. Abling us to say Hi and some other stuff.
Ive read in other posts here that ppl tend to recomend using about $20 or so on packs to get started. I was thinking of spending some myself, but when I noticed the price for a booster here, compared to real cards, and the fact that it doesnt seem to be any kind of value rating (yet), like trading and such, Id rather grind ;) But thats me.
So basically, this is free to play, u can grind or "Pay to play". Fair enough as u can get the Pay to Play cards via grinding if u have the patience.

Microprose's Magic: The Gathering (April 1997) had :
- The "adventure" mode, called Shandalar - it's against AI only.
- And all the other stuff, (deckbuilder, duel, sealed teck tournament...) now referred to as "Manalink" (after the separate program that did the connection (and matchmaking?)).
"Manalink" HAD a PvP mode (with chat), though I'm not sure if you could play the more complex features like the sealed deck tournament with it?

Microprose also released for it the Spells of the Ancients expansion pack (September 1997), and then (in 1998) made an updated version of the game called... Duels of the Planeswalkers !
(And that was years before Planeswalkers were even introduced in the game as a card type!)
(It was probably called that way because it's probably at that point that multiplayer was introduced.)
