Shandalar owns every MTG game that came out since, so no surprises here.

If only i could get mine to work properly again. :p

If you like that type of game, check out Etherlords 1 and 2, you can pick up a pack containing both for $7 right now, its no MTG, but its a card game with visual 3D turn based card battles, and world movement, deck upgrading etc.

Just be warned it hasn't exactly aged well, and is a bit linear, but it is without a doubt an enjoyable game in my opinion, at least worth one playthrough.

Considering WOTC seems content at leave the standard digital magic experience for MTGO, I really wish they would consider another Shandalar type game though, the battles can be left as regular card matches(dont try to make a real time combat system), but essentially world exploration, deck upgrading/building, with campaign and freeroam.
