Poker night at the inventory not working.

So I have a problem similar to one a lot of other people have had (if I understand correctly), but not quite the same thing. I can't get past the main menu. But I don't see a black screen, I see the start up screen with no selections.

I'm not sure what caused this. It's possible I didn't turn off my computer properly because I'm a lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but I'm not sure. I also downloaded another game the same day it stopped working, but I don't think that would do anything.

I've tried the majority of black screen fixes; changing the resolution (that one didn't seem to change anything so maybe I did it wrong), verifying the cache, runnint as administrator, and I've also uninstalled/reinstalled and deleted local content. Itt still doesn't seem to be working.

Can anyone help me fix this?
