I really enjoyed this! I'm grateful I missed the flashing lights because I had no issues with the game's visuals. It reminds me a bit of Hyper Light Drifter, and was both haunting and fascinating to look at. I found the game play very intuitive and engaging. I think I like what you have going on here; I was sold when I found the memory and was able to intuit unmentioned mechanics from it. I'm a bit concerned by the screen flash effect whenever you hit an enemy though. It's not a particularly strong flash but I'm not sure if that's enough; it would probably be good to have an option to turn that off....

Really like the aesthetic, but the gameplay feels like it has some serious problems. you do way too little damage and have no cooldown, so the optimal way to play without getting killed is to spam your attack, which causes some borderline seizure inducing flashing lights. Add some cooldown and up wayyy up damage. Flashing may still be an issue even with a lower frequency though so consider reducing it and looking into photosensitivity....
