Is this game worth playing if I am going to play Phantom Pain

Because the reviews where not as good averaging 75-80. Is it important to understanding the story. Will i be dissapointed in this in comparison. It also seem to be a pretty small game at 4 GB compared to PP at 28GB.

this is a pretty short game in comparison with TPP

but it is pretty important to understand what's going on in the next game.

If you don't want to spend money in a short game, you can just watch some playthrough on youtube.

If you are going to play TPP you really should play Ground Zeroes first.

this game is crucial to the story, possibly even moreso than TPP.

i'll just say you will want to replay this when you finish TPP. it is the only way to get the full story of MGSV.

Nah watch some walktrough and buy phantom pain. Its not as crucial as people say all that happens here is recapped in the big game and while it was fun then, theres no need to buy this now if you want to buy the main game. This was meant as a thing to endure the wait for Phantom pain. However I do reccomend Metal Gear V Phantom pain fantastic game.

Well, the story is kinda important.

I've seen people asking who Paz was and why Snake was in coma and why he has a horn and lost arm etc etc

They would know if all if they at least watched the cutscenes from GZ in youtube or something

TPP + GZ = MGSV

if you want to skip GZ, go for it. it will be like buying MGS2 and skipping the Tanker chapter.

why you would want to skip playing a game is beyond me. you do realize a video game is meant to be PLAYED.

if you just want to watch the story, don't buy any of these games and just watch what some random person edited together on youtube, since clearly you don't really care about getting the full experience.
