fullscreen = still laggy
I'll see what we can rustle up in terms of notes, the full screen issues isn't fixed in this update but is on the way..

How about testing the game before release.
Hope low quality music will be fixed as well.

You have to see that making a PC port isn't as easy as it sounds. Unlike consoles which only have one hardware for everyone, there are many many different PC combinations that can easily break the compatibility. No developer can possibly test every possible PC combination and you're always going to find someone that has a combination that won't work (or if you're unlucky, it's not working for you).

I, for example, had no issues with running the game or having any input lag. It pretty much works out of the box without problems.

Timewalker,

Same here. I couldn't have said it better. I used to do professional beta testing and sometimes these guys are up all night trying to figure something out. I remember going back and forth for hours with new builds. People don't understand what it takes to make a game especially from scratch. I've had no issues whatsoever with the game. I use an afterglow xbox 360 controller and its just awesome with this game. No lag or input lag whatsoever. The game is really beautiful. I'm really impressed with its small size yet looks and plays so great..

To the Lucid studio devs,

Thank you for reading the forums. I definitely would like change logs to see whats changing. Thank you for such an awesome game.

So you have high fps and no problems in fullscreen?

Same here. I still disable Vsync because you will always get input lag otherwise.
I tried out a bit more and suddenly I also have fps drops on full screen 2560x1440. With or without VSync. I didn't recall having that before switching to Borderless Windowed (as I hate how the game gets minimized in full screen) - so there's that.

Interesting. I run full screen 2560x1440, FPS is great, no input lag, no errors or anything. Played for hours. Running on:

Core i5 750
GTX 570
16GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 8.1

So it seems the issues are very case by case and not a generic issue.

I'd still be interested in seeing patch notes though.

I miss the turret-drone from GW:Galaxies though, I wonder why that was dropped? Dimensions feels like the natural progression from Galaxies - almost the same game but now on a 3D playing field.

Have you tried playing with borderless windowed full screen? I thought the game reacted fine until I tried this and noticed better response times.

I just gave that a try, and if there is a difference, I can't see or feel it. Plays exactly the same as far as I can tell. I am no better or worse Borderless or Not.
