I don´t understand. Free weekend for a free to play game? What is free?

The game is in early access and costs 10€. When the game is finished and out of alpha/beta it will be a free to play title.

That said, last time they had a free weekend, people who dlownloaded it got to keep it forever.

There won't be any price at the end. That's what free to play means. Btw this game is not pay to win. You won't get any advantage by buying those packs. You have to grind all the ships and weapons by yourself like everyone else. Except you can boost your exp after every game but that doesn't give you any advantage on the battlefield.

You can play the game only if you are buying one of the three Pack´s !

After Early Access:
You can play free, but we don´t know at which day in 2016 this will be!?

In and after Early Access:
You can buy Pack´s with skin´s and other "things", wich are not substantial for game experience and for fighting!!!

It gives you and your team a life time XP and credit bonus, which is different depending on your status.

You do NOT get any advantage during the actual matches if you buy any of the packs. Your ships are not stronger, your ships don't level up faster, etc. What you DO get is a bunch of cool looking stuff (ship skins), boosters that help you a little with unlocking stuff in the tech tree a bit faster. You pay for style, and you pay for convenience, but you do NOT pay for actual power.

You could argue that having access to more ships a bit earlier is an advantage, but it's a gap that "normal" players can bridge by putting in some effort. It's also important to note that the ships further along the tech tree are NOT more powerful, they are more specialized and situational.

The biggest "advantage" of being able to play the game during alpha/beta phase, is that you have time to learn the game while the rest of the players have to wait for the F2P release.

Das bedeutet wenn du das Spiel WÄHREND des Free Weekend zu deiner Bibliothek hinzufügst kannst du es behalten UND nach dem Free Weekend weiterspielen. Dieses kostenlose Angebot gilt aber nur WÄHREND des Free Weekends. Wenn du es nicht während des Free Weekend holst kostet es dich danach normal 10€ Early Access um es zu deine Bibliothek hinzuzufügen - außer eben wenn du es schon kostenlos gemacht geholt hast, dann kanns du's behalten und weiterspielen.

No, you got that mostly wrong. Let me explain:

Platinum: Platinum is the game's "premium currency". You buy it for real money ($/€/etc.). You can use Platinum in the in-game shop to buy cosmetic items (ship skins), boosters, or instead of credits to unlock ships in the tech tree (you still have to earn faction XP though to keep progression fair).

XP / Credit Booster: Boosters are items that you get as part of one of the founder packs, or you can buy in the in-game shop using platinum. Boosters have LIMITED USE, but the devs have designed it in a very fair way: At the end of the match you see how many credits and xp you earned. You can then decide to use one of your boosters to double these values (that way you don't waste boosters on bad matches unless you really want to).

Founder Status/Bonus: When you buy one of the 3 Founder Packs, you earn LIFETIME Founder status. Depending on the pack, at the end of each match you get up to 5% extra xp and 5% extra credits. Now here comes the great part: The Founder Status not only helps you, it helps your team as well. At the end of the match the highest bonus value is used to give extra credits and xp to everyone on the team. So even if you don't have founder status, you can always be happy to have a founder on your team.
