soooo, since you nicely dodged the main question the op stated here, I'd like to repeat the question "how long is this game ?" since I will not buy this without at least having a rough notion of playtime. the press build was around an hour, so what about the full game ?
ok, that sounds fine for the price. gonna wait a bit if there's a workaround for the missing vsync and if so will buy.
thanks for the quick answer
I just beat it and Steam tells me it took me 4 hours. I only got 8/14 achievements though, so I guess a bit more if you wanted to 100% it, which I guess would really be the only reason to replay it, it's a very linear game. But I'm done with it at this point.
I wouldn't say it's very difficult. I died a lot , however the game is built around that and it was never frustrating. There's sometimes a bit of trial and error involved, but in a fun way.
I got stuck twice, once early on because I didn't realize you had to run and jump to grab some of the ledges, and the second time because it didn't occur to me that the dog was heavier than me, so on the whole the puzzles are basically fair.
Overall I'd say it's a very good game, and I found the ending very powerful. I'm happy with my purchase.
Some of the timed puzzles are a bit annoying since the controls can be somewhat finicky at times but it's definitely not a deal breaker.
No replay value for me.
