Windows 10 Improves Performance and Graphics on Mid-range Mobile GPU

Windows 10 have been making miracles lately. I'm currently testing MK X on y510p laptop with GT 755m GPU and performance was greatly improved, not only that, I noticed that it improves the graphics texture rendering. Take note, both are set to high graphics..

Windows 8.1

It improves graphcis also on high end gpus like mine gtx 970 g1 gaming. I have win7 64 bit and later today i wil upgrade to 10. But how can it improves games graphics when the game dont have dx 12 support?

But for DX12 you will need a high gpu(gtx 970 gtx 980 and 980 ti).

I have friends from MS and I'm asking why is there a performance boost with non-dx 12 games. Just waiting for him to answer. I also have GTX 960m from ASUS ROG and it definitely have performance boost. I'm just surprised with what it did with my GT 755m as it looks low-res before Windows 10 update..

Yea im running a high end rig...and im amazed at the improvements to rendering and smoothness.

Just finisehd installation of windows 10. Now pc works again after many hours that it took me to install and update windows. Yes in some games including mk10 i see graphics improvements and i have the high end 970.

Win10 removed lots of bloat the Windows OS has been accumulating for decades.
