Neat game, but more shovel-reliant than the tutorial suggests. If you want to get better at the demo, the tips I found are: Start by upgrading shovels twice. You barely get coins throughout the demo level, and shovels are the only reliable way to keep empty dirt from accumulating and reuse trapped resources.
