Game Start Error

I keep getting an access error (in French?) in the game start page. Stream indicates game is running but it stay on the Play Civil War II start page? I have uninstalled and installed several times and the same error keeps coming up? Any ideas?

Is early war pretty chaotic?

New to the game and basically playing on as easy difficulties as possible. Haha I had done a normal campaign up to end of 1862 and was doing pretty bad so started a new 1861 grand campaign on easiest - I've played a few similar and other AGEOD games so im not totally unfamiliar to mechanics and why I figure might as well do grand campaign. With that said, as Union into 1862, im finding it pretty tough to feel like my armies are keeping pace with the south - part of this is my own fault, I tried for an ear...

This game is GARBAGE. I can't play the tutorial, it constantly crashes. Support websites are non-existent. Steam won't issue a refund because I "played" the game too long. Actually I was troubleshooting this game on my computer. At one point it crashed and would only launch in French. I was able to fix this by uninstalling and re-installing the game. You have been warned: DO NOT PURCHASE!!
