Unable to start game, recieve error message instead.

For reference, this game worked perfectly on my computer up until three weeks ago where upon attempting to start up the game I received a error message.

I ignored said error, yet it's persisted. Basically whenever I start the game I get a little pop up box which states:
Half-Life FileSystem_Steam Error:
SteamMountAppFilesystem(30,4294967295,0x22f6fbac) failed with error 5: No CS online with App ver 55.

Would simply re-installing HL & DoD Fix this?
I'm posting this is a discussion topic to help out any other people who encounter this issue- so any answers would be greatly appreciated! =D

UPDATE: I attempted a re-installation of DoD & CS, yet this has not fixed the issue.

Any help is welcomed!

I fixed the game by uninstalling and re-installing Half-life. The problem seemed to be caused by the new archiving system, the DoD Files not being able to locate the host HL Files.
