Crash only when loading certain maps
Most maps, on various servers, I have no problem. But specific maps, every time I try, I crash to desktop without loading that map. The one that I recall is "Greece". Any thoughts? Appreciate any assistance.

actually, it starts to load the map, and crashes right after "preachaching resources" task is listed.

It crashes when you have missing or corrupted models/sprites/textures, an error box should tell you what is missing. It could be the servers not setup right so download any problem maps and unzip them to
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\dod_downloads
