Very true to the original. I like the attention to details and the factual historical accuracy which is unfortunately rare. Not the easiest game to master but a real guilty pleasure for the strategy lovers!

Bought this game after messing around with WWI Gold some time ago. This is so vastly improved. Im glad these guys took this on and their improvements are spot on. Well worth the small asking price for such an in-depth game system. Be warned though. It takes some time to learn but once you 'get it' there is no equal. Not your typical AGEOD battles either. Tons of tacticle choices once they commence.

If you are looking for a HUGE, DEEP WWI game that really captures the feel, this is the one. Quickly becoming one of my favorite titles of all time. Plus the replay value is great.

Well, ive tried to play and it keeps freezing up during the tutorial. Ive seen that its a problem with a few other people. It might just be my PC having a problem with the game or something prevents it from playing well in the game settings that should be changed. So essentially ive only gotten in like 10 min, after having problems downloading for a dayish. But I will recomend getting this, if it will work on your PC. the way it looks and plays is great and having the setup with all of WW1 makes for a good "story" (i guess that works) it just isn't working on my PC, which while upsetting doesnt discount how much I want to still play this game.

Edit: forgot to mention, every time it crashes it makes me reinstall the game. Just want to show my bugs im having, hopefully a fix/i get a better PC

This game won't load. It hangs on the initilizing map screen. It figures. After that I read (here) that several, if not most, people are having issues with this game. I want my money back!

I do NOT recommed this game.
Unfinished.
Horrible interface.
Too many Boardgame gimmicks.
Runs poorly.
Freezes up and crashes at the drop of a hat.
Looks like very poor developer support (patches).
