Unable to order books from the Guild Library
I learn the library skill then go to the catalogue; When I click to order a book it will say "you can't afford to place this order" even though my currency say 13,888. ( the books are 1000-7500)

After I order a book, I am unable to pick it up as it breaks my Librarian (one dialogue choice will say "yes, here is your book" and give me nothing no matter what, and the other option is always a no). I've tried reloading saves, but all that does is reset the entire library (including deleting any progress of books having been in transit).

Here is my output log

Thank you for the log. I'll remove that conversation option from the Librarian, it's confusing.

The primary way to retrieve books is to interact with the catalogue and browse. If the book has arrived it should be automatically added to your Log when you start browsing. Picking it up from the Librarian was just a secondary option.

Ahh, I'll mess with that a bit more and post results here. I've tried that to no avail before (order book from catalogue, go take a nap, come back) and the book remains in transit, even if delivery time was an hour.

I haven't had any success ordering books either. Ordered one, said it was in transit for a while. Eventually came back and it was no longer in transit. Nor was it listed in my books.

Lars, is it "1 hour" game time or play time? And if you don't return in a certain time do they disappear? How is this feature supposed to work?

It's in game-time so it should be pretty quick.

I'm beating this with a stick right now trying to get it to work. It's working in the Unity editor but not in the build, which is my favorite kind of problem.

Hrmm. I've confirmed that the "In Transit" message does not survive quitting the game and restarting.

After quite some time waiting *near* the library for my book to be delivered I saved at my house and went to the library and the book was still "In Transit". I quit and reloaded the save game, ran to the library and the book was no longer in transit. It was back on the list of orderable books.

Now it's working! Confirmed in my new profile. : )

I can only buy the books that have a zero cost despite having gobs of money. The other books, if I click to order them, the interface goes to the top as if it had ordered the book, but it does not say "in transit" and acts like I can still buy the book. As a result, I can only learn cooking. The other zero cost book requires Pathfinding I which I cannot order.

Another known bug. : /

You can currently only order books you have the actual *grains* for (the lowest value coins). Amount of money doesn't matter. You have to pay in pennies until it's fixed. This should be taken care of tomorrow. But be careful, trying to buy those books may have taken your grains away.

Ah, okay. Great! I'll go start robbing people of penniess then :)
