Strategy First Bundle

Birth Of America is one of the games from the Strategy First bundle that works fine with Windows 7. Unfortunately, there are many of them that don't. Does anyone know if there are patches or work arounds that can make more of them work under Windows 7 please? One work around for example is, although Armada 2526 doesn't work in Steam, it will work if you run it from Steam Apps in the Steam directory. I've been told by many people that Windows 7 is basically an "enhanced Windows Vista." However, there are many games whose store page recommended system specs say they work under Windows Vista but they don't work when I try and run them under Windows Vista Compatibility Mode in Windows 7! I've tried all the ones that won't work in Win 7 using the various compatibility modes but to no avail. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

well try on the games forums,it can help u out,becouse mayority of these games are like 3 years old or something,when i dont think windows 7 wasnt released or still popular xd

Ok thamkyou for your feedback. I'll give it a go. I mistakenly thought all Steam games were win 7 compatible. Now I check the system specs everytime. Thanks again for your help and for taking the time to reply.
