What is the play order of the 3 UFO games and id UFO: Extraterrestrials Gold a fourth edition?

Are there really any other games with the depth of UFO Aftermath (apart from its sequels")? This game has real-time fights, actual ammo management and skill-based soldiers, instead of them being profession-locked. I can't seem to find any other game that captures the feeling of UFO Aftermath....

HI, im hoping someone here can help , i only get 3 resolution options in the configue and they are all 1024 x 768, trouble is i have a 1900 x 1200 monitor and when i play in any of the settings the mouse and screen do not line up, when i move mouse to bottom of screen it selects something half way up. this means i cant play at all. is there a way to set a different resolution for the game or fix the alignment issue? really want to play this again, but cant, i even have to alt+tab to close the game becaus...

I can't get the bio mass repellers without the Node. In fact no research can be done further with it. It must be in the bio mass but I have done every mission in the bio mass and found no bio mass node. I did this until the bio mass finally destroyed all my bases. Where is it? This is the second game this has happened. Edit: Three games now that the research just stopped with no way to progress. I give up. Time to delete the game....

I would like to ask if anybody knows, whether or not is possible to capture transgenants like baloon fish, sporeblower or watcher which can't be immobilized (red health bar state)?
