Update 4: Vibrant Villains (now with extra nutrition)

PIT PEOPLE UPDATE 4: VIBRANT VILLAINS is getting its finishing touches and will be wrapping up soon! As we mentioned earlier, we have been preparing the next parts of the story along with a whole new world map that will have 15 new bonus missions. We’re also happy to announce that we’ve got two new series of side quests in the City, each with multiple parts to the quests!

With everything combined, Pit People players can expect at least another 5 hours of gameplay in Update 4!

Thank you all for being patient with us as we continued development on Pit People. The plan is to have a release date announcement for Update 4 in the next two weeks!

Much appreciated status update. Even more so given the fact that most early access games imply the very real possibility that the game and its developement may get dropped before a official release.

Frequent status posts on game updates from developers and the effort put forth for constructive, transparent discussion on feedback from the community of players garners alot of faith in the developers at Behemoth. Given the aforementioned typical early access release system; I would have to say that if the developer ethic we have seen so far carries over the long haul of the games release... Lets just say I see a long bright future for the pit. And its just getting started.

I'm being quite honest in that you guys are probably amongst my top 3 developers of any game format, but how much longer are we going to have to wait? I mean, I felt like we were waiting so long for the game to drop, but now considering how long it's taking for updates I almost wish it's release was delayed for greater completion. I'm sorry to have a salty tone, I just think this is an amazing game and want to play more

Hi there timmythemic22, sorry about that! I can relate to your feelings and share them.

Everyone here is antsy to get it out the door, but we can't rush either. Our story-based content takes a lot longer than most of the other content due to all of the work involved from everyone on the team. It shouldn't be much more of a wait as almost everything is in place! We'll have an ETA this week if everything goes as expected, and next week if it doesn't.

I've estimated what we have out there right now to be about 10 hours of gameplay. We're adding about 5 more hours with this update, so it should be around 15 hours of gameplay total once Update 4 hits, and should feel fairly substantial. That's the good news! It is by far our largest add on value yet which is why it's taking a bit of time.
