Valve's Full Controller Support means: "Titles marked with “Full Controller Support” indicate that they can be downloaded, launched and played using only a controller. These titles do not require a mouse or keyboard on hand for any configuration or in-game setup."
See: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5006-ASLN-3202
On Linux we support PS4 and Xbox 360 Controllers; anything outside of that may not work.

Just making sure I got this right;
You do not support valves Steam Controller http://store.steampowered.com/app/353370/ and have no plans on doing so ?
That's really disheartening I was really looking forward to couch gaming with this title, but thanks for letting me know - at least I can save some time/fustration trying to make the game work. :)
Yes; on Linux we currently support PS4 and Xbox 360 Controllers.
At this stage we haven't been able to prioritise the implementation of this support. It's actually a big piece of work to add this support and at the moment we're trying to add cool new features and content that'll go out to the entire Armellian community.
We continue to review Steam controller usage and hope that we can justify it one day.
