haven't played for over a month .. wanna see 1st whether the update brings anything substantial to the table and how CF pans out .. lack of courses etc is holding me back; also the 1st person POV gameplay is something i'd wanna see ..

They're porting everything over to Unity 5 have patience guys, a year ago it was "oh its just vaporware at this point" but no good things take time and its such a small investment on our part

There's nothing to get alarmed about. Changing from Unity 4 to 5 will take some time and personally, I am excited that they are changing game engines at this stage as we'll all benefit from the new engine and the game will be even better for it.

Based on a post by Andrew on the PP forum, he indicates that the task is bigger than originally anticipated. Isn't that true for all projects :)

Having work with these guys for going on almost 10 months, I have complete faith in their resolve to deliver a great product. Yes, it's slow, but they're working toward quality not just trying to slam something together. I for one will patiently wait.

keep in mind. this is a major engine update from U4 to U5. Evidently, you can't mix the two. So all of the current stuff needs to be updated together.

Basically like the old days, 1000 lines of script just too watch a stick man go across a screen. Just an illustration. And that wasn't no picnic either.

Games 10 times bigger then this game Updated to unity 5 in just under a couple very short weeks, I'm a little suspicious...

I guess the vast number of programmers posting here are right. Well I for one am not a programmer, so I will let the Dev team and their testers do the work needed for a good update.. Hell I've already received $20.00 US Dollars worth of enjoyment out of this game.

PP keep doing the work right, not all of us players are impatient.

I'd say we'd better be getting close. PP said six months for official release and we haven't had an update in nearly two months.

That's a good way to lose customers, who will undoubtedly move on to different things. I've never seen an Early Access that releases a few patches and then does nothing for two months.

All this doesn't bode well. Many even wondered if this game was ever going to get released. Now that same doubt is creeping back in.

Good job you didn't sign up to Wreckfest: The Next Car Game.

Almost 8 months since their last update and barely a word about what (if anything) they are working on. Looking grim for that project.

at least PP are trying to keep folks in the loop about what is happening. The U4 > U5 update has taken longer than expected. I expect once we are at the U5 build, future updates will become more regular.

USAFDad please tell me where you buy your patience from. No seriously. I am amazed at your positive attitude. You must be living in Switzerland or something.

Also, people who are saying that you got what you paid for I want to ask them, how do you know that other games priced at $59.99 are not overpriced? Also, this game has very bad tutorials and its not user friendly even for a simulation.

Btw, I am just trying to induce some fun into these posts, no bad feelings ;).

I'm not sure what you are driving at in terms of me having patience. I'll assume that you are referring to my comments relative to the fact that the U5 conversion update has not yet been released.

I've been involved with this project for the last 10 months. I remember what the first test version was like and how far this game has come. I also have gotten to know the developers. At least as much as one can learn about another through messaging. I also know, from playing Links for the last 12 years that these same guys produced some very good courses over there and have gotten to appreciate their dedication.

I also know that Perfect Parallel is a very small shop, basically a startup with very little staff. Consequently, I'm amazed at the progress they have made since the beginning of my involvement. What many don't seem to understand is that PP is not a 'gaming' company. Go to their main website page and see what their core products are.

Lastly, I just ignore some of the insane negative comments from people that don't know and evidently don't want to know the reality of things. It's probably a function of my age. Also, I'm a firm believer in 'Larry the Cable Guys' philosophy which is, 'You can't fix stupid'. So I don't try.

I could keep typing, but by now you get the message. If you don't please refer to the paragraph immediately above this one.

P.S. if you click on my avatar, you will clearly see that I do not live in Switzerland. But I do live in a place where my brain cells are frozen a minimum of 6 months a year. :)
